Mileage check — 15,136 miles

Calculating the mileage since I purchased the Jeep in March until now, it has traveled 2896 miles in 5 months, 11 days.  Using Wolfram Alpha, I have projected how long it will take to reach 100,000 miles at the average rate of 17.76 miles per day:

Input interpretation:

(84864 miles)/(17.76 miles per day)

Result:

4778 days

Unit conversions:

13 years 1 month 3 days
I will update this from time to time.  At the current rate of use, the Jeep will probably rust out before it reaches the 100,000 mile mark.  It will almost certainly be paid for well before it reaches the 60,000 mile point–indeed, at the current rate, Wolfram Alpha projects it will only have about 31,000 miles in 58 months. (We started paying in June.)
Here’s hoping it lasts (and doesn’t get wrecked.)
